These two paintings will be part of the large exhibition - ARTSHOPPING at the CARROUSEL DU LOUVRE in PARIS 
From 19 to 21 October 2018

I have painted countless works throughout my career, but apparently there is still space for new experiences.

These two works in particular I made almost exclusively using my left hand after I had an injury in my right hand. At that time I was completely unable to use my right hand to paint.

So, I gave myself permission to create a new work process, even though this creation is something completely different from what I used to do.

It was this new process that allowed me to continue painting.

I discovered new abilities and even started to see things with new eyes.

I found within me a renewed motivation to continue working.

This situation helped me develop a different style, with new colour preferences and new insights about my own creative process.

"After all I have two hemispheres in my brain and I also have two hands".
