Although there is nothing inherently forbidden about the banana garden, it all changes when you have a dog who takes pleasure in ruining such orchard, even to the detriment of its own health. Eventually the space had to be fenced, and thus was born the “Forbidden Garden”.

After an uninspired attempt at starting a sunflower painting failed, I decided to leave the idea on the backburner for a while. It was after I finally decided to commit to the idea that I realized the subject had changed, time went by, but the inspiration returned.
